Towels, Towel Racks, Gallery Attendant

Mary Anderson dressed as a gallery girl (in formal but hip attire) leads viewers into a gallery announcing that "this is the artist's first solo show in new york and we are proud to show her series of paintings". Anderson as gallery attendant directs everyone into the space. A few viewers ask if they can touch the art and Anderson sternly responds: "You may not touch the paintings," and gestures to the tape on the ground that is a guide to where one is allowed to step.
